How to Make Mango and Crab Salad
Step 1: Prepare the Crab
Open a pack of imitation crab and heat on the stove top with a tablespoon of olive oil until cooked through. Transfer the imitation crab into a large bowl after cooking. Imitation crab can also be heated in the microwave, no olive oil is required. Open the package, place in a large bowl and heat for 3 minutes. Set aside once completed.
Step 2: Dice the Mango
Cut the mango into small cubes and place in the same bowl as crab.
Step 3: Slice the Vegetables
Thinly slice the cucumber, finely dice the red onion, and chop the cilantro. Place all ingredients in the above bowl.
Step 4: Combine the Ingredients
Gently mix the mango, crab meat, cucumber, cilantro and onion.
Step 5: Add the Dressing
Drizzle fresh lime juice over the salad. Add a small pinch of salt.
Step 6: Toss Gently
Fold carefully to keep the crab meat pieces intact and fluffy.
Step 7: Serve and Enjoy
Drizzle with a bit of olive oil if desired. This is optional.
